ABOUT US
Aikido Takayama
Aikido Takayama teaches the traditional Japanese Martial Art of Aikido. Our syllabus comes directly from our founder: 8th Dan, Shihan T.K. Chiba; one of the direct students of the Founder of Aikido and his personal uke for many years. We are a member in good standing of Birankai International. Here you will find quality Aikido taught by certified instructors who are registered with our organization and with Japan. Rigorous training in empty hand, weapons and Aikido philoshophy plus Iaido are all taught here.

Aikido is not for everyone!
We only accept serious and dedicated students. It is important to note that Aikido Takayama is a private organization and as such is open to students only after they have had an interview with our Chief Instructor. Those seeking general self-defense or sport-oriented fighting arts are better off contacting any other of the well qualified martial art schools in Mission.
